It is all systems go for Amad Diallo as he has been granted passport. The passport means that Diallo has been given the green light to complete his move to the Old Trafford outfit in January. The great Manchester United fan base is already excited to watch the prospect in action, and this seems all but ready to happen in January 2021.

Manchester United and Atalanta agreed an initial fee of £19 million, but the figure could rise to £37.5 million due to add-ons. The teenage winger could not move to Old Trafford immediately due to work permit issues which meant that he would remain with Atalanta during the first half of the season. However, the issues have now been solved and Diallo has been granted a passport.

Although considered one of the hottest prospects across Europe, Diallo has only managed two appearances for Atalanta this season. One of the appearances was actually a late cameo against FC Midtjylland, in which the Champions League match ended in a stalemate.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rates the fast winger highly. Diallo was the four 18-year olds that were signed by Man Utd towards the end of the transfer window. Facundo Pellistri, a Uruguayan winger who joined from Penarol, has been involved under-23 matches. According to trusted transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Diallo is also set to join the ranks at Old Trafford.
